Fall in Love with Yourself

To fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness. But self love… Do you truly experientially know about self love?

Butterflies can’t see the magic of their wings. They have no idea just how special they are. Like you…Exactly like you.

You have the waves of the sea written on your skin, and still you doubt your magic?

Because you see yourself through a lens of self criticism created by a 70 billion dollar diet industry fueled by a system that teaches shame to women and men alike.

You have been told you’re too much, too loud, too big, too soft.
You’ve been made to feel small, gross, an unwanted bug.
But you’ve been lied to. Because you’re none of these things.

You are magnificent, powerful, marvelous and magical. A beautiful creature with kind smiles. A strong soul and eyes that let other people know they’re loved.

You touched lives, changed worlds.
You’ve been challenged. Struggled. Evolved.

So no, you are not small. Or flawed or incomplete.
You are so much more:
A butterfly with wings you cannot see.
A body that holds you, loves you, let’s you grow.
A soul with indescribable worth, even if you don’t yet know.

I can remind you as many times as I must remind myself. Take this Saturday to remind yourself:

You are a force.
You’re strong.
You’re beautiful.
You’re perfect.

You’re greatness beyond what could ever be captured in words.

And if you doubt,
If you forget,
Look at yourself.
You are magic.
You are uniquely you.

A Freakin warrior ready to soar.
